Have you ever heard of Fireweed? Well, it is a symbol of resilience and renewal and can be located in sunny open areas in Banff and beyond. With its rapid growth after fires and nutritious benefits, it truly is nature's healer.

Mark "photographing this plant" off of your bucket list this summer. 🌿

Are you visiting us on one of our tours soon?

Our team has curated 3 things to know before visiting Banff National Park in May!

1. Pack layers! While temperatures can be warmer during the day, it tends to drop at night. Be prepared for temperature changes by packing layers to accommodate both.

2. May is in the shoulder season. The park is less crowded for a more enjoyable experience. Take in the sights and sounds of nature with a more intimate experience.

3. May means more options. While snow has started to thaw in lower altitudes, many of the ski lodges are still in service through the middle of the month. You could quite literally go on a hiking and ski adventure on the same day.
